As a New Zealand Registered Social Worker, I support women

meant to do together - not in silence, and not alone.

navigating postpartum, support is available.

Dr Aurelie Athan first described, Matrescence like Adolescence:
It is a time in a woman’s life when everything changes - her whole identity shifts.
When a woman becomes a mother, she splits in two:
Who she used to be, and the Mother she is.
And unless we honour that radical shift,
she will get lost trying to figure out who she is now.

"When I started experiencing postnatal depression, I was scared to talk about it, I was ashamed. Working with Lisa, I learnt tools to help me cope, breathe, talk about my feelings, and connect with my baby".
- Mariana, Melbourne
"Lisa gave me her undivided attention, beautiful wisdom and I felt fully held, heard and supported. After each session, I felt lighter and more clear on what steps I needed to take to support me and my relationships."
- Hannah, New Zealand
"After giving birth, I struggled with anxiety, triggered by sleep deprivation. My sessions with Lisa truly saved me - I felt grounded and clearer after each session. Every mother deserves this kind of care."
- Amelia, New Zealand
